Paul Rubin

Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

When seeking help for anxiety or other mental health related issues, having an attentive, engaging, and grounding presence can be the first step towards healing. I have experienced it as a therapist and as a client. It is my intention to provide this presence for those I serve.

When I work with someone, I attempt to understand the unique challenges they are seeking help with, as well as the strengths they already possess. In the process, my hope is to collaborate together to bring attention and awareness to aspects that may not have been known or previously forgotten. This may give rise to an experience of feeling more emotions that were difficult to do so at the outset. In doing so, thought processes and memories may transform in a healing manner, allowing for the experience of feeling more whole as a person.

I work with adults and couples on:

Anger management Parenting

Anxiety Personality disorders

Bipolar disorder - including inflation Relationship issues

Depression Self esteem

Grief Spirituality - including spiritual emergence or emergency (with psychosis)

Identity issues Stress

Life transitions Trauma and PTSD

Men's issues
